Do I need OBS?
Yes. Ember is a command center — OBS (with Aitum Multistream and Vertical plugins for multi-destination streaming) encodes and sends your video. Ember provisions destinations, unifies chat, and runs your overlays.
How is this different from Restream?
Restream relays your video through their cloud. Ember does not encode or relay video — you stream directly from OBS, keeping full bitrate control. Ember handles provisioning, chat, overlays, and your broadcast workflow.
What does the free trial include?
Your first 3 live stream runs include full Creator features — unlimited destinations, portrait feeds, full chat, overlays, and OBS health. No credit card required. A run counts when you go live; cancelling before broadcast does not use a trial run. After that, Starter limits apply unless you upgrade.
Can I stream to multiple platforms at the same time?
On the Creator plan, yes — select multiple destinations in one stream run and map keys to Aitum Main and Vertical outputs. Starter includes one destination per run.
What platforms are supported?
Ember currently supports Twitch, YouTube, YouTube Shorts. Video goes directly from OBS to each destination — Ember provisions broadcasts, unifies chat, and runs your control room. Kick, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Rumble are on the roadmap. Connect available channels from Broadcast Setup; coming-soon platforms appear in the planner but cannot be connected yet.
